ABOUT SALT HOUSE

Hi, I'm Lauren, the designer & creator of Salt House. Growing up at the shore, I've always had a passion for all things endless summer—toes in the sand, the smell of surf wax, barefoot cocktails on the back porch, outdoor showers, and putting on your bathing suit when you wake up in the morning. I believe that sometimes your floors should be sandy, your hair should be crunchy with salt, and there's nothing better than simply throwing on an effortless yet chic caftan so you don't have to think so much about what to wear but can still feel your most fabulous. I strive to create and source beautiful pieces that embrace the casual beach life, both for yourself and your home. I like to spend as much free time as I can sailing or at the beach with my family (when I'm not hiding in my attic studio creating and sewing).
