Salt House is passionate about bringing the casual chic beach life to you and your home. Many of the pieces are designed, created and handsewn with love and care by me in Sea Cliff, NY. Each textile that I source is chosen carefully for it's soft hand or perfectly sun-faded appearance. The vintage indigo and mudcloth fabrics are completely one-of-a-kind textiles, and some of the African indigos are over 100 years old. The airy 100% cotton double gauze is lightweight and luxurious, yet delicate. I have a deep love and respect for these beautiful and unique handwoven and hand dyed textiles, and each one was chosen by me with thoughtfulness and care.
However, because of the unique and vintage nature of these fine textiles, care must be taken during use. If you are someone who is very rough on your clothing and decor, these pieces may not be right for you. Although I have taken time to reinforce seams and secure any loose threads and patch holes and weak spots on the vintage textiles before creating garments and pillows out of these fabrics, these pieces are not intended to be washed with every use or treated roughly. I strongly recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry only as needed. Please use care not to snag on sharp jewelry or sit on abrasive surfaces such as rough cement while wearing or using these textiles. Please understand, I can not assume responsibility for damage. If your garment does snag or rip, please contact me and depending on the extent of the damage, I can try my best to repair it for a fee.

Please be sure to double check sizing and measurements and product descriptions in the product information section before ordering. Unworn, unwashed, undamaged and unused pieces may be returned within 14 days of receipt if you contact me for a RMA#. Please reach out if you have any questions or require further information as your happiness is of utmost importance to me. At this time, I am only shipping domestically in the United States.
